Touch typing is the ability to type without looking at the keyboard. This is the foundation of speed. Start by learning the home row keys (ASDF for the left hand and JKL; for the right hand).
Speed comes with practice, but accuracy is a habit. Don't rush. If you make mistakes, you have to go back and correct them, which slows you down. Aim for 100% accuracy, and speed will follow.
Sit straight with your feet flat on the floor. Keep your elbows at a 90-degree angle. Good posture prevents fatigue and allows your fingers to move more freely.
Consistency is key. Practice for at least 30 minutes every day. Use typing games and tests to make it fun and track your progress.
